Marmajuelo 2025 is a single-varietal white wine crafted by Hermanos Mesa Winery, a family-owned estate located in Arafo, Tenerife, dedicated to preserving and showcasing the native grape varieties of the Canary Islands. It is produced exclusively from Marmajuelo grapes grown in two vineyards planted in 2016 and 2018 at approximately 350 metres above sea level on sandy volcanic soils.
The grapes are carefully hand-harvested before fermenting in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine then ages for approximately six months on its lees, enhancing texture while preserving the fresh aromatic profile of this unique variety.
The nose reveals passion fruit, lychee and ripe peach aromas, while the palate is fresh, vibrant and mineral with excellent natural acidity and a distinctive Atlantic volcanic character. It pairs beautifully with seafood, fish and Mediterranean cuisine.
