Salinas del Carmen Organic Fleur de Sel is produced in the historic salt pans of Fuerteventura, where the sea, sun and wind work together to create one of the Canary Islands' finest sea salts.
Sea waves feed the salt pans through a natural pool known as the saltadero. The seawater then flows naturally by gravity into the evaporation ponds, where it slowly dries until a delicate salt crust forms. At just the right moment, skilled salt masters carefully select the finest crystals, which are harvested and packed entirely by hand.
This traditional process, preserved for more than 200 years, respects the natural cycles of the salt pans, ensuring that the fleur de sel retains its exceptional purity, delicate texture and natural properties.
Ideal as a finishing salt for meats, fish, vegetables, salads and any dish where outstanding ingredients deserve the perfect final touch.
